Międzyzdroje is a town situated in the north-western part of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, at the Baltic Sea, on Wolin Island. Wooden hills of Wolin National Park surround the town to the South and East, and its northern edge is a sandy beach – one of the most beautiful ones at the Baltic Sea. Numerous monumental buildings, the International Culture House (Międzynarodowy Dom Kultury), the Resort Park (Park Zdrojowy) and a pier (lengthened to 395 metres in 2004) are only some examples of sites attracting tourists to our town.
Vestina Hotel*** is situated in the eastern part of Międzyzdroje, within 50 metres of the beach, at the edge of Wolin National Park.Important roads lead through Międzyzdroje – the national road no. 3, of c.a. 500 km, (it is the Polish section of the international E65 route from z Malmö in Sweden to a town of Chaniá in Crete), as well as the regional road no. 102, connecting Międzyzdroje with Kołobrzeg. Międzyzdroje may be reached by bus or train, as the town is situated on the railway route between Szczecin and Świnoujście. During holiday period the number and frequency of connections rises considerably. The nearest and one of the most important Polish airports - Szczecin-Goleniów airport – is located within 65 km away from Międzyzdroje and is not the only airport we provide connection with. Another one is a German Berlin-Tegel airport located at A111 motorway, within only 8 km away from the centre of Germany.
Each sea adventure lover may sail to Międzyzdroje along a tourist trail, admiring the boundlessness of the sea and seaside towns, such as Świnoujście, Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf or Bansin. The nearest ferry from Copenhagen and Ystad pulls in to Świnoujście from which there is a convenient access to Międzyzdroje by town transport – buses no. 10 and 88.
